A one-of-a-kind concert featuring professional and local semi-professional bassoonists brought together by Lesley Wilson who has been promoting new music for the bassoon ever since her days as Principal Bassoon in the RSNO.
The programme features new works for multiple bassoons by Sonia Allori, Pete Stollery and Janet Beat which will be performed alongside an established work by Edward McGuire.
We are offering you the opportunity to attend an open rehearsal and discussion the evening before this performance. This is a unique opportunity to hear the works in progress and discuss the process and works with the performers.
