Bassoon Voyager is a multimedia live concert performance by UK solo bassoonist Laurence Perkins – a unique presentation featuring solo bassoon with projected video and still images.
The programme is a musical journey to Switzerland, France, a Shakespearian island, the Pyrenees, England (including the Lake District) and the Scottish Hebrides, with music by Reto Stadelmann, Corrette, Ridout, Mignone, Robin Walker and Cameron Sinclair, plus a tribute to Piazzolla, Renaissance English dances and traditional Scottish folk melodies.
