Three European ensembles - Red Note (Scotland), I Solisti del Vento (Belgium) and Song Circus (Norway) - have joined forces in this co-production which premières in Aberdeen before touring to Belgium and the Netherlands. The programme presents Louis Andriessen’s seminal work De Staat (The Republic) alongside Mauricio Kagel’s Der Tribun (The Tribune) featuring Simon Callow and the world première of The F Scale, a new work commissioned from John De Simone to sit specifically alongside De Staat.
