A day dedicated to the late composer, Pierre Boulez. Expert Dr Edward Campbell from the University of Aberdeen gives an introduction to the composer and his music. This is followed by a screening of Roger Graef’s film Who is Pierre Boulez? (BBC/ CBC/PBS/Bayerischer Rundfunk, 1986), giving an insight into the life of the composer and includes a complete performance of Eclats.
