Opportunities

Volunteer opportunity - Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 July

As part of Silver City Stories, an event bringing Aberdeen's History & Heritage to life between 26 June - 2 July, we've commissioned three short site-specific operas:

  • "The Mither Kirk" at St Nicholas Kirkyard (~15min)
  • "The King and His Shadow" at St Peter's Church Courtyard (~5-10 min)
  • "The Engine Room" at Footdee (Fittie) (~5-10 min)

The operas will be performed multiple times on Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 July.

We're looking for friendly, responsible and reliable people to help us with crowd management and ushering duties at these three sites.

The operas will be performed 4-6 times on each day between 11am-6pm.

As the operas are short, you'll have plenty of time to check out what else is going on as part of the Silver City Stories over the weekend.

We are ideally looking for volunteers to help on both Saturday and Sunday but if you can only spare one or part of a day please get in touch!

As the operas are short, there will be time in between for you to check out what else is going on as part of the Silver City Stories over the weekend.

Please contact admin@sound-scotland.co.uk if you are available to help out and would like more information.
